In June, a federal judge overturned Florida 2023 law that bans "puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy for transgender minors" which reflects the alarming ability of federal judges to strike down FL law protecting children.

"Florida’s Health Department did not immediately return a request for comment. A spokesperson for DeSantis said the state will appeal Hinkle’s ruling.
