Past
AAPS President, Tamzin Rosenwasser, MD and hospital whistleblower Stephen Guffanti, MD have dedicated their lives to protecting patients. They ask for your VOTE to elect them to the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Board in the
August 20 primary so they can protect you
from the INSIDE, with a seat at the table.

Dr. Guffanti knows that to best serve patients,
Sarasota Memorial MUST remain PUBLIC:
"I absolutely support keeping Sarasota Memorial public, because a private hospital allows no public scrutiny. The fundamental problem with hospitals going private is they’re in it for the money. Hospitals should be there for the patients. I will never vote to privatize Sarasota Memorial Hospital."

Dr. Rosenwasser STRONGLY supports
keeping Sarasota Memorial Hospital PUBLIC:
“If our hospital were ever wrenched out of our hands, and sold to a corporation, we would lose one of the only two hospitals remaining in Florida that still answers to the people.” Dr. Tamzin Rosenwasser’s long history of protecting patients confirms that we can trust her to have our back for exceptional hospital care.

Mary Flynn O’Neill is committed to transparency and accountability of all operations within the Sarasota Memorial Hospital. The community is most important to her, and the people should always be informed about all hospital procedures and policies.

She is dedicated to truthful fiscal responsibility for the taxpayers of Sarasota County to not cut corners. She will work for efficient and effective ways for Sarasota Memorial Hospital to provide the highest quality care to all patients that come through those doors in the County.

Tanya Parus' candidacy is not rooted in politics but in a deep commitment to addressing critical healthcare issues and transforming Sarasota Memorial Hospital into a safe and welcoming institution. Her vision transcends political divides, as these issues affect all patients, regardless of background. Tanya advocates for excellence in patient care, placing people above profits. Her candidacy is not about choosing a political side but about prioritizing the well-being of every individual. Imagine voting for someone who will always prioritize your health and well-being over financial gains. That's why it's crucial to consider Tanya Parus as a candidate who represents everyone.
